Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interest in learning towards the learning process of students. This research is a qualitative research using the demonstration method on students' interest in learning. The object of this research is class III elementary school at Bangun Elementary School, North Jakarta, Even Semester for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 9 students with a sample of 4 respondents. It is hoped that this research can prove the influence of the demonstration method in increasing students' interest in learning at SD Bangun Jakarta. This research data was obtained using a Likert scale questionnaire for the learning interest variable and using interviews with direct field observations for the learning outcome variable. The results of the research show that there are influences that influence reduced interest in learning, Among these influences is due to the lack of a method of teaching learning to students that is carried out by the teacher during learning. This method of data collection uses interview and observation techniques. The interview technique was carried out in a structured manner using interview guidelines. The observation technique was carried out by two observers in an anecdotal way.
