Abstract

Differences in student mathematics learning outcomes between the lecture method and the cooperative method through the board game snakes and ladders (quantitative experimental research). This research aims to determine differences in student mathematics learning outcomes. The technique used in data collection uses cluster sampling techniques. Based on the results of calculations using the t-test formula in the experimental class and control class, it can be concluded in general that there are differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of students who use the lecture method and the cooperative method through the board game snakes and ladders on plane material. Based on the research results, data analysis and discussion, on the results of the research carried out, namely to determine differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the application of the board game snakes and ladders media can improve student learning outcomes. These results can be seen in the learning results where the posttest results for the control class were 70%, while the experimental class which used the snakes and ladders board game method was 80% with a KKM of 70.
