Analysis of Learning Activeness of Class III Elementary School Students

Abstract

Learning in elementary school must be oriented towards creating active student learning. The aim of this research is to analyze the learning activity of class III-A students at SDN Wanasari 05 Cibitung, Even Semester, 2022-2023 Academic Year. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and a case study type. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. The data analysis technique for this research uses the Miles and Hubberman model with 3 stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. To test the validity of the data, researchers used a triangulation technique. The results of the research findings show that the active learning of class III-A students at SDN Wanasari 05 Cibitung, Even Semester, 2022-2023 Academic Year has actively participated in the learning provided by forming groups, students actively participated in the learning provided by actively asking questions, but students have not participated actively on the learning provided by discussion. The suggestion of this research is that the role of the class III-A teacher at SDN WANASARI 05 Cibitung is the key to creating active student learning.
