Abstract

This study aims to determine the description, to what extent the congregation of the An-Nuur RW.08 mosque's taklim assembly understands the enforcement of amar makruf nahi mungkar and its application in national and state life. The study was conducted at the An-Nuur RW.08 Mosque Taklim Assembly. The method used is the Qualitative Method, namely to reveal and obtain the necessary data and the data collection technique in this study uses ethnographic principles, namely by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques to making field notes. Research findings: In this study, it was found that the enforcement of amar makruf nahi mungkar that had been applied in daily life was quite good. However, specifically in the application of nahi mungkar it has not been optimal, as evidenced by the fact that there are still residents who are reluctant to reprimand (pakewuh) and feel reluctant to directly prevent residents who commit munkar, only reporting the bad deeds to the RT/RW/DKM Management which then takes preventive action. Based on these findings, the researcher suggests that there must be continuous provision of understanding, both through advice, lectures, studies on amar makruf nahi mungkar and cooperation from all parties..
