Enhancing Student’s Listening Skills Through The Use of the LearnEnglish Podcast Application in English Language Learning

This research aims to improve students' listening skills by using an English learning podcast application for grade X students at SMK Budhi Warman II Jakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is classified as Qualitative Research, Classroom Action Research. This research consists of 3 cycles, where each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 23 students, and data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The results of data analysis show an increase in students' listening skills using podcasts, as seen from the percentage of students who achieved the minimum passing criteria (KKM) from cycle one to cycle three. In cycle 1, 43% with an average score of 70; cycle 2, 70% with an average score of 74; cycle 3, 87% with an average score of 78. The observation results showed that the observation sheet reached the target of 87%. Based on the explanations above, it can be concluded that the learnEnglish podcast application has significant potential in improving students' listening skills.
