Using Padlet on Students’ Writing Skill as The Essential Effect

This research is aimed to find out the effectiveness of using Padlet on students’ writing skill at eleventh grade of SMK Karya Pembaharuan Bekasi. This research used quantitative approach with experiment method. Total sample that used were 46 students with 23 students from XI TJK 1 who were given the treatment by using Padlet as experiment class and 23 students of XI Pemasaran as control class. The sample were taken by using cluster random sampling. The dependent variable in this research is writing skill and independent variable is Padlet. According to the calculation, it was obtained that the mean of students’ learning result with using Padlet in experiment class had the score of mean 81.6, median 81.6, modus 81.5, and standard deviation 2.62. Meanwhile, the students’ learning result in control class had the score of mean 79.76, median 80.17, modus 82, and standard deviation 2.91. Based on the hypothesis test, it was obtained the result of t count = 4.267 > t table = 1.680. Therefore, it was obtained the conclusion that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that there is the effectiveness of using Padlet on students ’writing skill in SMK Karya Pembaharuan at eleventh grade.
