Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship to mathematics learning outcomes between what is taught and the learning style in the Flat-Side Room Building material in class VIII of Mutiara Islami Plus Middle School. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach survey method with correlation techniques, a general approach to research that focuses on estimating the relationship between variables. The research variables are learning style as the independent variable (X) and mathematics learning outcomes as the dependent variable (Y). The regression equation obtained is Ŷ=-28.4+1.18X. Product Moment Correlation, used to find the level of correlation. After carrying out the calculations, the value of rxy=0.941 is obtained, which means the correlation level is very high and the level of Determination Coefficient is 0.885, which means that if converted into 88.5% of mathematics learning outcomes are determined by learning style, the remaining 0.115 or 11.5% is determined by other factors. The hypothesis test was accepted because tcount=14.65>1.701= ttable proved that there was a significant correlation between learning style and mathematics learning outcomes in flat-sided geometric material in class VIII of Mutiara Islami Plus Middle School, Bekasi City.
