Improving Students' Listening Skill Through the Movie Clips Media

This final project is a classroom action research. In this study, the researcher limited the study into how to improve students' listening skill through the Movie Clips Media. The results of the study can provide a deeper understanding of The Movie Clips Media and improving students' of listening skills. Researcher takes classroom action research into two cycles, in each cycle there are four steps: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. There are 39 students who helped with the study. Researcher takes data from observations, interviews, and tests. The test used is a listening test to see the student's understanding in English. In the results of the study it was revealed that the grades of the students on each cycle increased. In the first cycle only 13 out of 39 students managed to achieve the set grades, and in the second cycle there were 34 students who manage to pass the test even they exceeded the set grades. It can be seen that the motivation and confidence of students in listening skills increases. At the end of the cycle, 87% of the total students pass the test.
