It is quantitative research using a product moment correlation that followed M. Nur Ghufron and Rini Risnawati S model. This research comprises of several indicators that the researcher uses to measure students self-confidence they are self-ability, optimistic, objective, responsible, rational and realistic. The research was conducted for one month on May 2022. The subject of the research is 44 students of eight grade students, the research data were collected through questionnaire for Self-Confidence and oral test for Speaking Skill. From the research result, the researcher gets the normality test using chi-squared for α 0,05 and dk 6 rtable is 12,592 for independent variable is 1,811<12,592 for dependent variable is 2,120<12,592. So, Ho is accepted that means all data have normal distribution. And for the calculation of regression is 2,03<2,15 it means Ho is accepted. The hypothesis test using product moment for α 0,05 rtable for 44 sample is 0,297 the result is 0,98>0,297 it means Hi is accepted. For the determination coefficient is 96,41%. It means the students’ self-confidence contributed 96,41% to the students speaking skill. Whereas, 3,59% is influenced by other aspects not examined in this research.
