Abstrak

Learning outcomes are crucial benchmarks for teachers, reflecting the skills students acquire through instruction. However, science subjects often face challenges, primarily due to a heavy reliance on theory and printed materials, leading to student boredom. This research aims to enhance learning outcomes in Social Science and Map material for grade IV students at SDI Teladan Suci using the Problem Solving model during the 2023/2024 school year. Employing a classroom action research method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, the study consists of three cycles, each with planning, acting, observing, and reflecting phases. Conducted over six months, from January to June 2024, the research involved 31 students, gathering data through tests and observations. Results indicated a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with average test scores for Map material rising from 67.03 in Cycle I to 83.87 in Cycle III. Additionally, observations showed enhanced student attitudes and skills. This study concludes that implementing the Problem Solving model effectively improves learning outcomes for grade IV students at Sunan Ampel.
